Channing Tatum started his career working as a model, his first experiece in the fashion industry was working alongside Ricky Martin as a dancer in the vidoe clip of She Bangs. he got the gob after he auditioned in Orlando, he said that he only got paid 400 dollars for appearing in the video. after appearing on the video clip he started getting noticed , so afterwards he signed a contract with a modelling agency that was located in Miami, he appeared in alot of magazines, including Vogue, after he started appearing doing modelling work for alot of campaigns and brands, such as , Nautica, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, and American Eagle Outfitters. Channing Tatum was voted one of the top 50 faces for the Tear Sheet Magazine in October 2001.

Channing Tatum says that thanks to his modelling career he has found a path that he could start from and no need for his family to worry about him anymore, he has found out that he loves any job that actually makes sense to him.and not everyone gets the chance of seeing the world and all the things that are out there.

When Channing Tatum started his acting career it was in the year 2004. his first Tv job was playing a role in the TV series CSI: Miami, and his first movie role that he acted in was in the year 2005 where he starred alongside the well respected actor Samuel L. Jackson in the high school drama “Coach Carter”. this didnt stop Channing Tatum from appearing in video clips, his next appearance was in the clip of the rapper Twista in the “Hope”music video. The next movie that Channing Tatum appeared in was War of the Worlds, but his role was very small, then he appeared in the moto racer, Supercross, also supported in the movie “Havoc”. Channing Tatum said that he didnt quit his job in modelling but he is concentrating more on his acting career, he said that he prefers wasting his time making more mature movies.

In the year 2006 Channing Tatum acted in the movie She’s the man, who he happens to be in love with the charecter of Amanda Bynes. Also in the year 2006 Channing Tatum starred in a dance movie called “Step Up”, and in the remake of the 1980’s move A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, he said that his role in this movie was the first dramatic role that he starred in till now. he recieved very positive reviews for his acting in that movie, he also was nominated for an Independant Spirit Award, and actually won it for Best Suppoting Actor.

All these hobbies that Channing Tatum was doin, made him a very athletic person, when he grew up he not only played football but also baseball, track, association football, and practicing in martial arts. Tatum said that his biggest distraction in school while growing up was girls. He attended Gaither High School in Florida. when he was done with his sophomore year there was two oppertunities infront of him, either go to military school or a private school, so he chose going to a private school, he attended Tampa Catholic High School in Florida. In the year 1998 he graduated and was the most athletic person in the scool according to the sudent votes. due to his athleticness he was granted with a scholarship to Glenville State College in West Virginia. but he turned down the scholarship because he has lost his interest in playing American football.
